Stochastic modeling is an active research field which stimulates various interactions between theory and practice. IJOR in particular making a special issue welcomes submission of papers related to this areas concerned with all aspects, both theoretical and practical, of mathematical modeling using stochastic models. The use of stochastic models is the binding factor. The areas of interest include but are not restricted to performance analysis of telecommunication systems, the modeling of logistics and service systems, the theory of queueing and inventory models, revenue management, as well as case study in the areas or review papers:
IJOR is an international OR/MS journal and seeks to publish original papers. Papers with originality in theory, technical advancement, application, and/or case study in the following areas or review papers in important areas are welcome, but not limited to:

• Operations Research Theory, Methodology, & Applications
• Computing, Artificial Intelligence, & Information Management
• Stochastics & Statistics
• Decision Science
• Management Science

Any papers meeting the range of readers' interest in OR/MS related research fields or applications would be considered all publishable candidates:

Manuscript shall include: Title, author name(s) and address(es) (in the Word file only), abstract (no more than 150 words), keywords (maximal 5 keywords), text, tables and figures (if applicable), references, and appendices (if applicable). In the PDF file, the authors' names, addresses and contact information should be removed.
